Heart & Hammer TX is a nonprofit organization founded on the belief that everyone deserves a safe, functional, and dignified home—regardless of income or age. Based in Texas, we provide free labor for essential home repairs and renovations to veterans, senior citizens, and families on fixed incomes in our local communities.
Our mission is simple but powerful:
To improve the quality of life for those in need by ensuring their homes are safe, secure, and comfortable.
Whether it’s building wheelchair ramps, repairing unsafe flooring, or making bathrooms accessible, we step in where resources fall short—offering skilled, compassionate hands and practical help where it matters most.
What makes us different?
Our founder, Tiffany, is a seasoned contractor with over a decade of experience and the owner of Femme Fix It, a woman-owned remodeling company. She launched Heart & Hammer TX with a heart for service and a deep respect for the people who built and shaped our communities—our veterans, elders, and working families.
Tiffany takes no paycheck from the nonprofit. Every dollar donated goes directly toward helping others—materials, tools, supplies, and impact. Labor is always provided at no cost, but with your help, we can reduce the financial burden of materials and expand the number of families we reach.
